Actalent is Hiring a Configuration Engineer Near Strongsville, OH
ACTALENT has an urgent need for a client that is undergoing SAP Implementation in late July, which has created a need for 1-2 consultants to assist on a 3 to 6 month project:
- Support data conversion activities from existing ERP (Baan) into SAP - late July Go Live
- Review existing router and operations sketches against current processes
- Transfer required technical information into SAP upload format
- Oversee documentation for part details, assemblies, BOMs, and SOPs
- Review ODS database (Operational Data Store) and compare existing operations against revised SAP operation number
- Compare router operation text to ODS, and add any missing text
- Separate PDFs containing operational sketches and save to individual files
- Upload all files to ENOVIA using MES software
Skills & Qualifications:
- Methods, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering background
- Operations and Process related background
- Configuration planning for equipment and materials
- Documentation management for parts, drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and SOPs
- Previous ERP experience
- Detail oriented
Plus:
- SAP experience
- ERP implementation experience
